Winter Solstice Moon Batch Candle
Truly the most beautiful candles we've ever seen, imbued with the energy of the full moon on which they were poured. This batch was poured on the Full Cold Moon; the last full moon of 2018. "Native American cultures associate December with the month when the winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark. The Full Cold Moon on December 22nd was in the sign of Cancer. With the opposing Sun in cold, austere Capricorn, the Moon seeks comfort and nourishment in Cancer.
During winter, we stay close to home, huddling in our nest until warmer and lighter days arrive. Typically, as this is holiday season too, this is often a poignant time of remembrance. Cancer is associated with family, home, ancestors, history, memory. The Cancer moon brings to surface areas related to parent-child dynamics in our family or relationships or issues connected to where we live. Work-life balance also becomes very important at this time.
Overall this Full Moon is beneficial for:
Starting something new
Balancing home and work
Resolving family issues
Remembering family members that have passed on
Nourishing yourself and loved ones
Creating positive changes within the home"
