Ihema Hanging Woven Planter

Handwoven by artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda, this hanging planter tapers from a wide woven base to a neat opening, with soft white accents rising up the sides in a subtle, staggered pattern against warm natural sisal. Sweetgrass at the core lends structure and a faint, fragrant sweetness that develops over time.

The artisans grow their own sisal, extract the fibers by hand, then dye and weave each piece—so no two planters are exactly alike. Sized to hold a 4" pot, it's an easy way to bring texture and a little movement to a sunny window or an empty corner.
