Quilt Square D

  • $216.00

A classic quilt block, reimagined in glass.

Picture the same bright window, now with a patchwork square hanging in it. Soft blush corners frame a diamond of four triangles, two in bold cherry red and two in warm terracotta, set in a pinwheel pattern. When the light comes through, the reds glow like stained glass in a farmhouse window, and the clay tones add a warm, earthy depth. The piece is tidy and geometric, and it has a cozy, handmade feel.

Handmade by Hannah Hazel Glass, this piece measures 6" x 6" and hangs from an 8" woven antique brass chain, for a total length of roughly 14". It looks right at home in a kitchen window, a craft nook, or a plant-filled corner that could use a graphic pop of color.

Good to know

  • Hanging hardware is not included. A nail or screw above your window frame is best for a secure display, or an adhesive hook works if drilling isn’t an option.
  • Colors shift with your light source, and textures vary from piece to piece. A crease or bubble you might take for a flaw is a characteristic of this style of glass. Irregularities are the nature and joy of stained glass.
